The new(er) location is better lit. A little difficult to find. Quilting selection is pretty poor. Wide selection of boutique and couture style fabrics for gowns and dresses. Good thread selection. Notion corner isn't bad. Service left a bit to be desired. Ladies were discussing taxes behind the cutting table the whole time. Would have been nice to talk with them about their products.

I am new to sewing and have no knowledge of fabrics. I went in looking for cotton fabric. I was not greeted when I walked in. The male worker assumed I knew where everything was. They are over priced with a small selection. One lady at the end of my visit helped match my thread to the fabric and ended up being helpful. Over all terrible experience and I will not be returning. They made me feel dumb for not knowing anything about sewing. Unkind and over priced!!! Dont go! order for Joann online store.

Love this shop! The fabrics are gorgeous. Every time I visit there are new discoveries. Here you will find fancy fabrics for evening wear and beautiful 100% cottons for quilting and everything in between, with many choices. Their collection of notions is just as plentiful as the fabrics -- lots of buttons and trims in stock. Best of all the staff is always helpful and friendly! Hours are convenient. And they have twice a year sales... Purchased this quilt backing in these photos from Textile Fabrics.

Passing through Nashville on the way back home (different state). Happened to be a 40% off sale on fabric (1yard min.) I went in there specifically looking for linen. Seemed to have good quality linen at the market price (expensive) however with the discount, it was wonderful!
I love linen fabric! Would come here again. Friendly and helpful ladies working there.
Lots of different kind of fabrics plus a remnant corner in the back.

Huge selection of fabrics, notions, and other sewing items. I had a hard time not buying everything. Prices are consistent with other quality fabric stores in Nashville. Tons of buttons, ribbon, and trim.

I was with my husband on business and we were heading north out of Nashville on 65 to go to another business destination. I had 15 minutes to shop, so he said! So I went in, found the first person who asked if she could help me find something. I knew exactly what I was hoping to find, and told her what it was and that I had 15 minutes! Her name was Sarah. She was very helpful; I walked out 20 minutes later with the exact fabric I was hoping for, Sage colored dupioni silk for my mother-of-the-bride dress. And each yard was 40% off! Perfect timing!

Lots of sewing/crafting fabrics and notions. 40% off all fabrics which seems to be a theme for them. My problem was that with a name like Textile Fabrics and #2 hit on a goggle search for Outdoor Fabrics, I was disappointed to learn they carry no outdoor fabrics.
