I purchased a large roller bag from T.Anthony about 5 years ago and have used it lightly since. The bag has slowly fallen apart and finally the handle broke off after my most recent trip. The zippers are broken, the leather has deteriorated and the wheels do not work. I reached out have the bag replaced or repaired and they wrote back an obnoxious email with expensive repair fees. I am appalled at the customer service provided by this regarded New York brand. Their luggage is beautiful but the quality is horrific and the customer service even worse.

I’ve been getting bags here since the 1990s and am appalled by the customer service. I went in to ask about repairs for 2 bags and 2 cosmetic bags that had linings that completely shed and was handed a card for the company they use to repair the bags and basically shown the door. I’ll definitely be looking for a better luggage brand with decent customer service.

I must say that I am very surprised this luggage received any stars at all (if I could give less than 1, I would). I purchased a roller bag for my husband, and the wheel ripped out on one of his very first trips. He took it in and they fixed it, but I wouldn’t say it was a pleasant experience. Then the wheel they had repaired broke again, and they informed us we would have to pay to have it repaired. Then the handle broke. For the money, I would invest in a heartier brand who is devoted to customer service.

A New York institution. Great canvas totes bags. Unfortunately,the company decided to stop selling thg e high quality made UK n England bridle leather briefcases and now offers briefcases made in italy of vastly inferior leather and construction,with leather that shows every scratch and ages poorly. But the store and service are still impeccable. However,whoever is sourcing the business cases doesnt know or care that leather goods from I taly cannot compart with those feom France and England. Italy has leather goods factories that will make products for extremely low price points. Not so with France and England. But it's still a lovely store and worth a visit and consider a nice canvas totes bag or one of the many gift items on offering

I have nothing but remarkable things to say about T.Anhtony. It is always a pleasure to shop there. Not only are their products of the highest quality, their floor staff (and management) are so welcoming and informed, and patient! My experience with Will was just superior, above and beyond. And manager, John, has become almost a friend. In all, the T. Anthony staff make decision making very easy, never push a product I don't need or am not interested in, never force me to make a decision, and so many other tiny things that elevate the whole shopping experience. Not to mention, the effort they go to in maintaining products that one has already bought. I consider this to be a life long relationship, and I look forward to my next time shopping there.

This location was particularly helpful to me! Jose and staff are kind and welcoming, right as you walk in the store. I had an issue with a product and Jose helped me fix it right away. He was easy to talk to and such a gentleman - listening carefully to me with patience and understanding! The reason why I continue to shop at T. Anthony is not only for its products, but mainly based on the fact that they are knowledgeable, polite and provide excellent service alongside the sophisticated products sold in store. Suggest this location, because Jose is great. Thanks you guys!

I was surprised to find such consistently good reviews here compared with the much more mixed reviews on Yelp.

I have been buying their men's wallets for many years from their Short Hills store, now closed, so I purchased one on line from them. $155. Unlike previously where the brand was discretely embossed this one has the logo printed in silver and, being a textured leather finish, the printing looks awful and indistinct - what you might expect from a $5 Canal Street knockoff bag.

I emailed customer service but never even heard back from them. I thought their complete non-response an aberration but judging from the litany of shoddy manufacturing and poor customer service stories among the Yelp reviews it would seem par for the course.

It was alright. Nice place but you have to ring a bell for them to open the door, and they kind of stare at you and make you shop uncomfortably. The store isn’t laid out very well and didnt feel organized.
