I was in Edinburgh for the first three days of my Scotland trip and stopped in this store based on a recommendation. I wanted something made in Scotland and was not disappointed in what the store had to offer. I picked out a blanket, jumper, several pairs of socks, and a hat. The ladies working there were so helpful and knowledgeable! I needed their help in picking out the correct size jumper for my husband since he was not there to try anything on in person. I had the blanket and jumper shipped home to me since they would not fit in my suitcase and the package arrived home before I returned from my two week trip! I look forward to doing some future online shopping with Scottish Textiles Showcase in the future as the products they sell are top quality.

This shop is where cozy lives. So many cute, beautiful, and cozy creations on display! Everything is so colorful and soft! But seriously, it is a beautifully laid out store with lots of quality locally made items. Perfect for someone who wants made in Scotland and a store that is unique compared to the other shops on the Royal Mile.

This place was a great find amid the copy-paste souvenir shops around the Royal Mile. Everything is locally made by incredibly talented artisans and the staff are so knowledgeable. We picked up some truly unique and special pieces there and it feels great to know exactly who made the item and where. Plus the shop dog will probably say hi and honestly that's worth an extra star. 6/5 would covet designer Harris Tweed coats and play with Squid again.

I have been dreaming of purchasing a coat from this store! I was in love from the moment i walked in. The Scottish tweed quality did not disappoint! The weight and feel were exactly what i was hoping to find. I found the coat i wanted “Martha” unfortunately my was size was not available that day but the owner offered to order one in my size! I was thrilled, but i was headed out of town. Next time i will call before my trip so that the coat is there when i arrive! Till next visit cheers- Aida

메이드인 스코틀랜드 제품 구매하고 싶다면 이곳 강추. 모직, 트위드, 작은 소품들 모두 스코틀랜드에서 핸드메이드 된 물건만 모아서 파는 소품샵. 무엇보다도 직원이 친절해서 좋았고 물건을 사면 각각 스코틀랜드 어느 지역에서 왔는지 친절히 설명해줌. 가격은 당연히 비싼편이나 핸드메이드 + 메이드인 스코틀랜드 인걸 감안하면 비싼편도 아님.

I knew that I wanted to get a scarf from Scotland as a souvenir, but it was important to me to get something actually made in Scotland. I popped in on my first day and eyed a scarf that I wanted, but didn't want to purchase the first scarf that I saw, so I held off on purchasing it. I travelled all over Scotland (including the Isle of Harris) and just did not see another scarf that I liked more so I was back at STS on my last day to buy my beautiful Araminta Campbell heritage collection scarf! I also picked up a Lochcarron throw blanket which I was very happy did fit in my luggage. The scarf and blanket were more expensive than other ones that I saw, but that is a worthwhile investment into the artisans of Scotland (in my opinion).
