It makes me sad to post when this company has been taken over by new owners, and I can’t accurately give the rating to NEW Rue 21.

I have NEVER gone to a grand opening where they had NO music playing. No employee greeted me, even after walking past each one. They were too wrapped up in recovering and walking around the store aimlessly. Customers were using the hooks themselves to get product they wanted, and not one employee was attentive to that. As a store manager in retail clothing, this came as a huge disappointment.

I truly hope that management addresses these issues so that they are able to offer a positive experience for their customers in the future.

So I was shocked when I learned that they reopened rue21 I assumed it was the same but once I got a glimpse of the inside I realized it was not. So once I did a little bit of research I found it was bought out by someone else obviously because the previous people had to file for bankruptcy which is why it closed in the first place. And I believe the same company who now owns the new rue21 also owned forever 21 and something else.

I was disappointed when I realized they did not carry plus sizes anymore and when I came home of course the website still didn't work but once I did a little more research I realized they completely took out their plus size section and the quote on quote stuff they did have for supposedly plus size girls were four. The women who are considered average at least to me because I am 6 ft tall 300 lb. And my favorite thing that I bought from there was some flare pants. They were tall. Girl friendly. I bought a couple cute shirts at one point. A couple cute outfits, but now it's just your average Star for people who need are under a size 10 I'm assuming.

And it's kind of sad how good stores that have plus size clothing. Either remove it or you know end up closing down. So if you are plus size unless you happen to catch something you have to primarily shop online which can be annoying cuz I like to charge on most of my clothing. It is sad the way a lot of stores is trying to face plus sizes out because two and lots of people fat people were just not supposed to exist at all

And I guess if they faint they stopped selling big clothes in stores that the fat people will just stop eating. Cuz of course they assume everyone's fat just cuz we overeat which is anyone with common Sense knows but that that is not the case. Common Sense isn't as common as it should be

Super rude employees! Went to get a dressing room, they were ALL locked so I decided to go to the perfumes and wait for an employee to be done stocking to get a room- and NOTHING but her pushing past me to stock more perfumes I went to 5 other stores today and nobody else was that rude, so what did I do to make them that way? I understand Mondays are never fun but come on. I went to go check out, and had 27 dollars in which I did NOT receive the right change back for and will not be returning, until they just become nicer.

Do not shop here. Oh but you can definitely steal for here because their detectors do not work. Long story short purchase items and sensors was left on there. I live at least 48 mins from here so went to 2 stores that was close to me (oak cliff and cedar hill) neither store could take sensor off because those places use a different type sensor. The manager at that store was very rude which is recorded telling me that I will have to just bring it back mind u I have no way to that location literally had to get a ride earlier to the other 2 stores. Spoke with the district manager who again trying to make me go to stores which is again costing me money. So I’m basically paying triple for rides just to go back n forth due their mistake. I just want a shipping label so I can send items n receipts so I can get a refund. But even that request they aren’t sure if they can do again making me have to go up to the store. This is a whole headache caused my an incompetent employee at the cost of the customer.

The staff were nice and patient when closing hour approached yet my 10 year old niece was still in the dressing room. The cashiers were also very sales efficient when they promoted the new roll on fragrance collection of which we swatched and purchased. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE WELL DONE.

The lady at this store was super helpful. My wife is out of town so I had to take my daughter who is 12 to get a outfit. Told the, supervisor I believe, my situation and she helped my daughter with picking out things and the correct sizes since my daughter is small but tall. ?

Just there shopping for some clothes here and unfortunately I miss placed my drivers license so I happen to call them since I was already at home and spoke to a gentleman named Chris. Asked him if they might of found a driver license and he didn't seem to be sure then he said they did not. Also asked him if there was another place at the mall were they take lost items he then just hung up. Wow thats how you guys treat your loyal customers that's the last time you will get any of my money.
