I popped in with my daughter a couple of weeks ago and found about about an upcoming sale and regular sewing classes. Since then, we've been regulars. My daughter attends a kids sewing class and loves it! We've made several fun purchases and are always made to feel very welcome and supported with our needs. I'm hoping to join a class myself soon too.

Very helpful staff and bargains to be purchased at their pop up sales upstairs. A sewing delight with so much choice. Not many shops like this exist today. Keep going!

Didn't even know this shop was there until I searched for fabric suppliers. What a find! Warm welcome by friendly helpful staff. I wasn't even sure what I wanted but was guided in the right direction and came out very happy with my purchase. Will definitely be going back

Had some fab table cloths over the years from this lovely and friendly family run business. Their shop is incredibly well stocked with an extensive range of well priced, beautiful fabrics. Great customer service and as a business they have done amazingly well to adjust during these difficult times. They have clearly been accommodating customers in what ever way possible with regular social media updates and an online postal service. Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas 🙂

I've recently moved to the area, and as a costume student had to go and find the stores of course!
My first visit to Kayes was absolutely lovely. The staff where extremely welcoming, super interested in the project I'm doing, and great at answering questions I had.
They didn't have in stock one fabric I was looking for (bright green PVC, hard to find anywhere!) but they gave me a sample of a different green pvc they had, as well as looking to see if they are able to order in the correct colour.
Wonderful place and will be back again for sure!

Ordered some haberdashery supplies online for collection, assuming it would be available the next day, was very impressed when I got a text within half an hour that it was ready! Great selection, fast and friendly service, very happy. Just can't wait until I can go inside and have a proper browse at all their gorgeous stuff.
