One of the biggest "educational scams" in Texas.

Many ppl are excited to be part of ACC This year, so much so that enrollment is up 27%!!! Mostly because ACC is offering residents tuition for only 10% of the total tuition cost. This is because the other 90% is being paid for by Government Subsidy...

Well that might seem great and all, but the reality is that the majority of ACC's students will be taking online classes from their own P.C. and basically educating themselves.

As for the "teachers/professors" of these courses, most of them are way over the hill in age and ability.

"Those who can, do. Those who can't, become teachers,"

Let's be real. You get what you pay for.

Let's also look at how this organization maintains its facilities, they don't. Unless it's for a marketing piece to attract more victims....I mean students.

The Highland location is pretty well kept but the Riverside location (OMG, SMH!!)

And the Shole Creek buildings are practically falling down, their flower beds are overrun with weeds, and the patio in the main courtyard is infested with mosquitoes, mice, and who knows what else? I sat at one of the tables, outside in the courtyard for only 5 min and I just couldn't take it, had to leave. Not an environment suited for students at all.

I also did the math, and by charging students 10% of normal tuition, shifting classes to online, and cutting corners in virtually every other area of the organization, except head of staff salaries, and soliciting potential Trustees, on a volunteer basis.

ACC is still netting a big profit on this deal!!

And that's really what these community colleges have become all about. Profit!! For the people at the top of the education food chain.

This is not the way it should be. Community College, is designed for the community, its people, and its children..

This little game that ACC is playing will be short lived...

Anyone considering taking the bait on this 10% tuition deal, would be better off sticking to your hobbies and things you're passionate about.

If you want to learn a new skill, that's what YouTube is for. You're likely to get a much higher quality of information that way.

OFFICES ARE NOT OPEN AT 7:00AM.
It seems like a lot of students come to campus early trying to get administrative things done, but offices are not OPEN UNTIL 8:00AM.

The Google sites show that ACC is open at 7:00AM because the buildings are unlocked for students, but NO OFFICES OF ANY DEPARTMENT WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 8:00AM

I love the school but the history classes are excessive on their testing. It really burns you out all the information. Biweekly quizzes would be better. Otherwise, its a great place!

Been going here a minute. They got big plans and plan to deliver. I like the size of my classes, and the facilities are clean and welcoming. Great professors! If you want to be taught, they will teach you.

Wow where do I start. This campus is impossible to navigate. They have no central system of organization from maps to room numbers to kiosks with zero point of reference. Even worst the ‘class schedule’ I struggled to find doesnt correctly list the room or building numbers my classes are in. They are living in an alternate reality. Good luck.

This review is for the Highland testing center, I went there to take a make up biology exam, it was female employee Hispanic, when I provided them the professor name, they said we can’t find him, It was Microbiology professor Jack Ogrady, I told them he has been teaching in ACC for the past 20 years, anyway, it was a very unpleasant and unprofessional, ACC shouldn’t have people like that working for them.
