He truly made me feel like a movie star and provided the same quality service to every customer that came through the door. This place is the best, Went to Miami In April bought some shirts along with 3 of my friends. Wear those shirts everywhere now. My sister n mom went to Miami today. My sister said let me know if you need anything when I'm out there. I sent her the address to this shop and I told her facetime me when you get there i need to Re-up my supply. Big Papa took care of me even on Facetime, got me 3 more shirts. Got a lifelong customer anytime I'm out there definitely gonna stop by an buy something.

One of the strangest shopping experiences I've ever had. The owner was very friendly at first with my husband and I while we looked at guayaberas. We really liked the shop and the merchandise is definitely nice quality.
As soon as my husband mentioned that he only wanted to buy two, the owner's personality completely changed. He suddenly became very curt, wouldn't make eye contact with us while we checked out and seemed to be really angry or upset. I have no idea why his attitude totally changed, but I'm guessing he thought we would purchase more (for some reason). This really shouldn't make someone angry and I've never seen anyone totally flip so quickly.

Tourist trap. Absolutely disgusting shopping experience. Owner sold me a hat that was too big and did everything to reassure me that it was the way it was supposed to fit. I couldn't even look down at my shoes without it falling off. Asked for an exchange and he refused and stated I was was wrong, "just looking for trouble" and there are no returns, even though I pointed out that there is nothing in the store that states there are no returns allowed and even his receipt failed to mention that. He then tried to pawn off something else I did not want and kept reiterating that I was "just there trying to cause trouble" and when I showed him the receipt to prove there was no rules stating returns were not allowed he snatched it from me, proceeded to refuse to give it back, and began lying that I had the receipt the whole time and was just causing trouble, then attempted to kick me out several times without wanting to give back my original receipt and then reprinted an entirely different receipt that said "no returns on altered items" in an effort to get rid of me. I gave him the option to either return my money or deal with the bank and he chose to deal with the bank and got upset because I took a picture of him (as many others have) with the product I was trying to return as evidence for them. The man is high off the fact that he has had some minor fame in a small book and treats anyone who doesn't treat him like some kind of royalty like trash. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone, do yourself the favor and go to the other dozen stores that sell the same items.

Great service! Big Papí delivers as a professional fashion consultant (this is very differs from a mere guayabera salesman, as you will learn). Great banter, local knowledge, and no pressure. I still ended up leaving with two shirts and will go back for additional fashion advice for sure. Don’t miss this gem on Calle Ocho!
