Berta has created such a lovely shop, and the products available are so cute and fun! I always see excited, happy children every time I’m at the store, and she clearly knows the neighborhood like the back of her hand. Every time I am in, she and her staff are warm, helpful, and caring. The selection of apparel they’ve designed is adorable — perfect for any petit loved ones!

Before we opened, I needed a very specific gift for a very dear person and I needed it immediately. A frog plush! Alas, the owner, Berta did not have one in stock. Fast forward several months later and we opened our bookstore three doors down. As a gift, Berta gave us a plush frog (and other beautiful things). She remembered! In fact, that little frog (Bertie) is still in our kid's section.

This is really who Berta is. That's what La Petite Chambre is all about. A thoughtful array of clothes, toys, and necessities for your little and middle ones—selected by a proud mother, Afro-Latina entrepreneur, aesthete. If they don't have something, she will work tirelessly to get it for you. La Petite has a wonderful consignment selection as well. You can find amazing things for great prices. And the space is warm, inviting, and fun for little ones to play around. Love this space and love the owner.

There are amazing unique finds for baby/kids. I have purchased several items such as clothing/books for my nieces and nephews and they all love their gifts. The best customer service!!! I absolutely love the candles and body butter options they have for adults. They offer gift card and gift wrapping which adds a special touch to any gift. I would 100% suggest to check them out for any of your baby/kid gift or shopping needs.

My husband, little one, and I wandered into La Petite Chambre as we were walking down Cortelyou Road and we loved this children's boutique! The owner, Berta, is wonderfully charming, personable, and just all around fun to chat with. We were excited to get a book and onesie there and look forward to returning to browse their collection of great baby items and pick up some more items. Thank you Berta!

Can't say enough great things about this shop!! Came in one Sunday looking for a new backpack for our daughter. It was a little late in the school year and the owner told us that she had just put them all away in storage nearby. When she saw the dejected look on our faces she offered to get them out! Love this sweet little store, and I'm so grateful to have it in the neighborhood! I've had lots of great consignment finds and found adorable outfits on the regular racks as well. It's also a great spot to pick up baby and kid books and gifts.

La Petite Chambre in Brooklyn is a great store if you are looking for clothes or gifts for an infant all the way up to a child. Everything the store has is very unique at very affordable pricing. I have purchased many items for my niece and everything is such great quality. And if you want to consign your child’s lightly used clothes they do that too.
