Loved it!! It’s my third time coming here, and not only do they keep it tidy but they have wonderful customer service. The clothes are also amazing finds! This is my go-to thift store.

I have given this location multiple chances, and I’ve been let down every, single , time.

Here are some examples of the extremely poor customer service and bad attitude I’ve experienced while both shopping and selling items.

- never greeted, whether I’m the 10th or only person in the entire store
- tried to return (for store credit) a dress I’d bought the day before and was told I could not (it was not on clearance, the reason was something about me using partial store credit in my entire purchase.. because I had bought more than the dress)
- hearing the “buyers” make fun of, quite loudly, the clothes that they were sorting through to potentially buy
- waking in on a Sunday afternoon and being told that there was a 2 bag limit and no trash bags allowed ( I’ve alwayyyyysssss used and seen / STILL SEE trash bags used) on weekends
- and then today, walked in with TWO bags (because it’s a Friday) and after waiting 5 mins to check in (after someone who literally brought in a moving box of clothes) was told “oh we’re only taking 1 bag per person today” I said ok, checked in and then was told that they’re would call me by 7 pm…I asked if waiting in the store would speed up the process (AS NORMAL) and the girl said no, because they were still behind from the day before rolling her eyes.. so I obliged, leaving the store. Naively, I ran the rest of the errands(very slowly) thinking surely they would be done within 3 hours (from my assessment of all the bags in front of me(I’ve seen more bags take less time)) because it was not until 4.5 hours later I got a call that my buy was finally complete. I was given how much they would offer for the amount of clothes they pick take- I accepted verbally over the phone. When I went to pick up my unwanted items, it was clear that they took more items than they stated over the phone as my bag was almost empty - at this time, my husband and screaming baby (past his bedtime but only with us so we could make the cut off time Uptown gave ) waiting in the car, I didn’t have the energy to say anything so grabbed my “unwanted” items and walked out .

I would also like to add that DENTON uptown cheapskate location is the specific location I am referring to - I’ve always enjoyed my visits to the other north Texas locations, and was super excited when they opened the one in Denton (finally in my town) a few years ago - but after today , I have finally given up hope that they will change/ be better/ smile or at least have a positive tone in your voice!!!

I absolutely love coming to this store. They have the cutest clothes there, and all kinds of sweaters. They have’s huge variety of pants, leggings, active shorts, dress clothes, fancy clothes, sweaters, and jackets…all for low pricing. I recommend everyone to check this store out..

I dropped off my extra clothes that I no longer wore and got 60$ in in-store credit to use whenever I want! It never expires! Love this store and their service!

Received notice about my birthday discount last week; checked out the inventory & found some excellent buys today! Store was well stocked; stall were great to work with. Love this denton store!

Walked around the store for 15 minutes waiting to see if they would give cash for what I had brought in which was mostly hollister brand good condition clothing and a Micheal kohrs bag. I saw lots of hollister and Micheal kohrs selling for around the store but yet they denied every single one of my clothing, 2 bags full of stuff. They couldn’t really give an explanation as to why either and were rude about it.

This is a great store. everything looks great, stuff is super nice and sweet. They even have a restroom it is very clean and they have the good toilet paper and towels for you
