There's definitely some cool tactical stuff that I'd love to blow money on, but I'm too cheap. I buy everything thrifted.

Great place to get boots if you have a first responder job. They have. Good selection and a lot of wide boots. The people at the service counter were very helpful and were very knowledgeable about their products. I’ve bought quite a few pants, shorts and boots from them. They last a good while and during Christmas they gave out funny fighting fruitcake patches. Great company for quality gear.

Both staff members I interacted with did an excellent job assisting me locate the boots I needed. One gentlemen even scoured their inventory that wasn't in the storefront to best assist me. I purchased a brand new box of ATAC 2.0 6in boots. The box was in great condition, and I was offered a bag with my purchase that I gladly accepted. Friendly staff, the store layout made it easy to navigate, and their displays were well organized. Good job, 5.11.

5.11 Tactical in Shenandoah, does not stand behind the warranty of the products they represent. I have had issues with this store before and had to exchange at another location due to the manager and the unwillingness of him and the associates to hold good on their products. The warranty provides for a lifetime of coverage against defective products, absence misuse/abuse, must be purchased from a 5.11 store or authorized retailer, etc. The position of the store is that it has some dirt on it (not excessive wear/not covered in mud) and that they can’t resale the product. First it doesn’t say anywhere in the warranty that they need to be able to re-sale the product. Not my problem. I bought the product taking into account the quality and warranty should something go wrong. As I do with many other brands. This is not my only 5.11 bag and for a majority of the time I am pleased with the products. But to be informed by the corporate headquarters (who I previously contacted) that it was acceptable to visit a company store and do an exchange. As I have done before, only to be give the response I can’t resale the bag (only issue is defective zippers) and the best my manager can offer is 30% off of the bag on a 20% of sale promotion already going on is a slap in the face to my time spent driving here and the product I selected at the original time of purchase.

A tactical product whose retail store does not hold up to the brand. I suggest you buy direct or from another authorized dealer instead of the local store where they don’t take care of good customers and hold up to their products. This was supposed to be convenient but looks like I will just send the product back to corporate so they can take care of what should have been done here.

SCOPE OF WARRANTY

5.11, Inc. ("5.11") warrants each product sold by 5.11 or its authorized dealers ("Product") to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for as long as you own the Product, or for the maximum period allowed by the laws of your jurisdiction, if less.
EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE

Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:

Products purchased other than from 5.11 or from an authorized 5.11 dealer.
Damage resulting from abuse or misuse.
Damage resulting from extended wear and tear.
Damage resulting from tampering or a customer modification.
Damage resulting from exposure to a caustic substance.
Consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, exemplary, and/or special damages (although some states in the United States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so this exclusion might not apply to you).
This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by 5.11 relating to the Product and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, 5.11 disclaims all other express or implied warranties.
