High end designer clothes with high and high amount of security. Low-key a pressuring thrift experience.

2nd Street is my favorite thrift store-franchise in NY! I loved the SoHo collection and there were a lot of men’s items.
I was not a huge fan of some of the women’s selection but I know I am probably perceiving it from my type of style. The have a lot of edgy outfits and there are a lot of unique styles. The high-end items are priced fairly.

EXTREMELY nasty staff. Told me I belong at the free shop across the street. Coming from a loyal customer who has spent years and thousands of dollars at this store. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Chelsea… friendly staff and reasonable prices.

YOO.

I dropped some vintage bags and accessories off at this store to get authenticated and priced, and EXPLICITLY asked that the two pristine bags be stored in their dustbags.

I received them back all tossed in the same bag. The Gucci handbag I left came back with noticeable scratches (probably from the zippers and hardware of the other pieces it was tossed in the same bag with). I was also really upset that the beautiful Vintage Louis Vuitton Epi Speedy 25 I left with them came back with wear along the edges and scratches all over the front and back.

I’ve had decent experiences selling to this store in the past, but this was a near $1000 botch (I have the quotes if you think i’m exaggerating). Sell your busted stuff here all day, but anything of value is not safe.

This location gets super duper crowded and security guards ask to drop off any bag at the entrance. My favorite location because of the great selection they have.

Brought a suitcase worth of clothes to sell. They took about 15 items and said they’ll give me $10 for it! I was shocked I said $10 are you serious (Was a mix of jeans, tops, and purses) This store is such a RIP OFF and likes to low blow sellers. Listen DON’T ever bring your clothes here to sell, better off going to Buffalo Exchange or Crossroads. (They’re way more fair and reasonable with pricing)

The black guy who went through all my items also wanted to keep my entire suit case worth of other clothes that they weren’t going to sell and give it to donations. (without even asking me) I immediately told him NO give them back! And I’m so glad I did that, because I went to Buffalo Exchange and Crossroads right after and got over $150 cash for selling those items to them instead! Sellers beware of 2nd STREET SOHO!! Terrible rip off store! I wish I could give them 0/5 stars.

Some decently priced items, that's about it. I walked in and had to check in my bag, which I wouldn't have a problem with normally, but they let white girls walk around with open tote bags. (Way to make it obvious btw). Some prices were awful, almost full price for tattered and stained clothing.
